The moment a new infant is born, its eyes encounter two human beings which play an exceptional and conspicuous role throughout its life. Yes, it’s none other than his parents. One of them is a female which we call our ‘mother’ and the other one which is a male as our ‘father’. There are many great sayings that how important a mother is for a child, the role she plays, the love she nurtures and showers on her children but hardly one knows and conceive that “being a father is also not that easy”!
Obviously, a mother is very vital for a child but a father; he is a true guardian and a silent knight that bulwarks his children. It’s a father who infuses manners and etiquettes in a child. Obviously, basic manners are taught by a mother but a father shows a child how to implement them in real life. It’s him who teaches his child how to be disciplined in life and a child seeks and learns all these by none other than the quintessence himself, his father. What better example one can have other than his father when it comes to being a disciplinarian?
We all face failures in our life at some point or the other and then in those times, we feel low-spirited. We are grief-stricken, lugubrious and dejected at the bottom of our soul. Then there comes our man, our father who shows genuine compassion for us, who is there to support us, to make us realize that failures are the part of life. We fail so as to learn from our mistakes and do better in coming moments before us. He teaches to utilize and take advantage of each opportunity given to us and make the best efforts we can and emanate as invincible and the way a father elucidates his child cannot be pointed out in words.
Our father possesses something matchless and peculiar trait. You all must have seen your father as austere most of the times. Some of us even hate that part of his but do we know why he is so? Doesn’t he like to show caress towards his child for which he will be loved? He does but unfortunately does not have the fortune to show us his lenient side so as to constitute strength in our characteristic. He builds a stalwart nature so that we can fortitude ourselves in hard times or when we become a parent we can provide a strong arm to our children in their tough times.
He stands by us when we stand in need of someone to backbone us. There are always times when the life is just not pleasant anyways and we are so low esteemed that we want someone to succor in our enduring days. He reinforces us and makes us ac-knowledgeable to the real world. He makes us what we are in our subsequent years of life.
Okay, how many of you remember your childhood? All of you I suppose! Can you recall the moment when you asked your father for something and sometimes he denied and sometimes he assented without any hesitation? Yes, we all can. He does that even now. That’s our father. Albeit he fulfills all our wishes and covets right on the time but also want that his child should learn the true meaning of an asset and should not take anything for granted just because wants are fulfilled beforehand. It is his teachings that we are capable to stand on our own feet and make a name in this fast-paced world and earn a livelihood for us.
However, whatever a father does for his child he never forgets to shower unconditional love just like a mother. It's his this catalog of perpetual qualities that makes his children proudly say: I am proud to be a child of my father!
